The Kampa Hayling 6 Tent uses fiberglass poles to create its structure and provides an upright design for great headroom. The flysheet material used is Kampa’s Weathershield™ 68D Fabric and it has an exceptional Hydrostatic Head of 4000mm HH meaning you can comfortably know your interior will stay bone dry. Large window panels are placed on the sidewalls and they offer excellent illumination, this is great for the interior as the space inside is brightened up to provide the illusion of even more room than you actually have.

Kampa has decided to rework the original design of the Hayling and have applied the enhancements to the Kampa Hayling 4/6 Poled and AIR editions. This new design focuses more on core components that make a tent great, rather than unnecessary or premium features that are often used in many other designs. That's not to say the Kampa Hayling 6 is poorly designed however, it's actually quite sophisticated for such a low price. The exterior of the tent is coloured in a neutral silver-grey which is ideal for campers that want to match the rest of their equipment’s aesthetics. The front entrance features a multi-position door that leads into the front porch area. This space is handy for storing wet kit, utilities such as cooking stations and during the summer, can be used as a covered outdoor living area to enjoy the weather without sunlight temporarily blinding your vision. Moving further into the tent will present you with an expansive living space that has an internal area of 10.2m². This area is brightened by large window panels on either side of the tent, there's also a convenient side door placed on the left and right-hand side of the tent. These doors have mesh panels that allow air to easily pass through to the material, but stops bugs from disturbing our interior. The height of this living space is 2.1m meaning you can stand up fully. At the rear of the tent is the Sleep Tite Bedroom which utilises Kampa’s specialised material to prevent early morning sunlight from waking you up at the crack of dawn. High and low ventilation panels help reduce condensation in the bedroom and they can control the climate to be at a comfortable temperature for a good night’s rest.
In summary, the Kampa Hayling 6 Tent is a great option for those that want to save money by choosing a poled structure rather than an inflatable one, but don't want to reduce the quality of their product in any way. You gain a significant amount of space and excellent protection from the elements which makes this tent a top contender during the 2021 Season.
