The Thetford Fresh-Up Set for C500 Cassette Toilets provides a convenient way to refresh your existing caravan or motorhome toilet with a new waste holding tank, toilet seat and cover.
Specifically designed for the Thetford C500 Series, this genuine Thetford refurbishment set is suitable for the C502C, C502X and C503L models. It provides an economical alternative to replacing the complete cassette toilet when the main toilet installation remains in good condition but key removable components have become worn, aged or simply need refreshing.
The set replaces three of the most frequently used parts of your cassette toilet: the waste holding tank, toilet seat and toilet cover. Once fitted, these new components can give an existing C500 installation a significantly fresher feel without requiring the complete toilet to be removed from your caravan or motorhome. Thetford describes its Fresh-Up system as a straightforward way to refurbish an existing cassette toilet with very little effort.
Installation has also been designed to be straightforward. The Fresh-Up Set can be installed without tools, making it a practical upgrade for owners who want to refresh their existing toilet themselves.
The replacement waste holding cassette can also be useful even when your existing tank remains serviceable. Instead of disposing of the original cassette, you can retain it as a spare waste holding tank. This can provide additional capacity during longer touring holidays, particularly when access to designated disposal facilities is less frequent.
A Fresh-Up Set is also an excellent consideration when buying a pre-owned caravan or motorhome. Replacing the cassette, seat and cover allows you to refresh some of the toilet’s main personal-contact and waste-handling components while retaining the original C500 installation.
The C500 Series itself uses a compact bench-style cassette toilet design with a removable waste holding tank and has been available since 2010.
With a new waste cassette, seat and cover supplied together, the Thetford C500 Fresh-Up Set provides a simple and effective way to give your existing cassette toilet a fresh start.
