Whether you’re maintaining the battery in a seasonal vehicle, caravan, motorbike or lawn mower, the MP7402 helps keep compatible 12V batteries charged and ready for use.
Suitable for 12V lead-acid batteries up to 100Ah, the charger is compatible with wet, maintenance-free, AGM and GEL batteries. It’s also suitable for stop/start vehicles, giving it the versatility required for a wide range of modern and traditional vehicle battery systems.
At the heart of the MP7402 is its 9-step automatic charging cycle. Rather than simply supplying a constant charge, the unit automatically assesses the connected battery’s voltage and condition before progressing through the appropriate diagnosis, charging and maintenance stages. Once charged, the maintenance function makes the MP7402 particularly well suited to batteries that need to remain connected for extended periods.
This makes it an excellent choice for caravans, classic or occasionally used cars, motorbikes, golf trolleys and lawn mowers, where batteries can gradually discharge during periods of inactivity. The low 0.5A output is specifically suited to controlled charging and long-term maintenance rather than rapid high-current charging.
