New for 2027, the Vango Kela Pro Air II Driveaway Awning is a premium inflatable driveaway awning designed for touring couples and families who want a durable, comfortable and refined living space alongside their campervan or motorhome. Available in Low, Mid and Tall connection heights, the Kela Pro Air II caters for everything from conventional campervans through to larger panel vans and coach-built motorhomes.
The Low model accommodates attachment heights of 180–210cm, making it ideal for compatible campervans. Mid covers 215–255cm and is designed for larger panel vans and low-line motorhomes, including compatible Fiat Ducato and Peugeot Boxer-based vehicles. For larger coach-built motorhomes, the Tall version accommodates attachment heights of 255–295cm.
At the heart of the Kela Pro Air II is Vango's premium Dynamic Pro 420 Double Ripstop fabric. Weighing 122g/m², the reinforced double ripstop construction improves resistance to tearing and helps restrict the spread of accidental damage. An impressive 6000mm hydrostatic head provides excellent waterproof protection, while ColourLok™ Eco improves colour retention and UV resistance. Its solution-dyeing process also uses up to 80% less water while reducing chemical use, energy consumption and associated CO₂ emissions compared with conventional fabric dyeing processes.
Despite its premium construction, the Kela Pro Air II has an approximate 8-minute pitching time. Vango's proven AirBeam® inflatable structure replaces a conventional main pole framework, providing a strong and dependable structure while making pitching considerably easier. A manual AirBeam® pump is included, with a compatible electric pump available separately for even more convenient inflation. Vango's TBS®II Tension Band System provides additional three-point bracing when greater structural support is required.
Inside, the fully sewn-in groundsheet helps reduce draughts, bugs and ground moisture to create a more comfortable enclosed living space. Large Diamond Pro windows fill the awning with natural light and provide clear campsite views, while privacy curtains allow you to close the space off when required. An included removable SkyLiner provides a softer internal finish and helps reduce the effects of condensation.
Ventilation and a mesh door encourage airflow during warmer conditions while helping keep insects outside. SkyTrack® II and SkyHook compatibility also allow compatible lights and storage accessories to be positioned around the awning, making it easier to create an organised lounge, dining or additional storage area alongside your vehicle.
The Kela Pro Air II's true driveaway design means your campsite can remain set up when you want to use your vehicle. Simply disconnect the campervan or motorhome and roll the connection tunnel away, leaving the awning standing independently as your campsite base. When you return, reconnect the vehicle and continue using the Kela as your main living area. Two tunnel doors provide flexible access around the vehicle while connected.
