Central to the Travelounger is its 8-position adjustable high backrest. The ergonomically curved shape has been developed to provide comfortable support whether you’re sitting upright for dining or reclining back to relax outside your caravan, motorhome or tent. The premium 3Durafeel Pro padded fabric further enhances comfort while giving the chair a smart, contemporary appearance.
Brunner has developed a distinctive L-shaped aluminium frame, specifically engineered to provide excellent seating performance while allowing the chair to fold into a slim profile for storage. Depending on the selected size, the Travelounger folds to just 9.5cm deep, making it particularly convenient for touring where locker and vehicle storage space is often limited.
The frame construction also benefits from Brunner’s advanced laser-cutting technology and unique crossbar mounting system. Rather than relying on conventional exposed screw connections for the stabilising crossbars, the system securely fixes them in position. Brunner states that this reduces the risk of connections loosening through frequent use and transportation, while also concealing exposed screws for a cleaner finish.
All three versions use a lightweight aluminium frame and support up to 150kg, with weights ranging from just 4.5kg for the Small to 5.1kg for the Large. The Medium provides the balanced middle option at 4.8kg.
