Developed specifically for year-round residential use, Weathershield™ Rest is manufactured from 100% dope-dyed polypropylene. This premium fabric offers excellent UV stability and fade resistance, helping the awning maintain its appearance during prolonged outdoor exposure. Its naturally hydrophobic properties allow water to run off efficiently, while the fully waterproof, easy-clean construction makes maintenance straightforward throughout the season.
Despite its impressive durability, Weathershield™ Rest remains lightweight and easy to handle, making the fabric easier to pitch and tension than you might expect from a residential awning. The result is a practical balance of long-term strength, weather resistance and everyday convenience.
With its generous 3-metre depth, the Residence Luxe creates an expansive living area for dining, relaxing and entertaining. Large panoramic windows bring natural light into the awning, while contemporary internal curtains and external blinds offer flexible control over privacy and light. A supplied roof lining adds another premium finishing touch, helping create a more refined and comfortable interior.
Pitching is simplified by Dometic's Single Point Inflation system, which connects the individual Air Poles into one inflatable structure. Simply attach the included 12V Gale Pump to the external inflation point to raise the entire AirFrame. When packing away, quick-release deflation valves positioned at the base of the legs allow air to escape efficiently without having to deflate every beam individually.
The innovative Dual-Pitch™ Roof System helps deflect wind and encourages efficient rainwater run-off, reducing the likelihood of water pooling on the roof. Combined with Apex Ventilation, which promotes air circulation and helps manage condensation, the Residence Luxe is designed to remain comfortable through changing weather conditions.
