The Fiamma Kit Vent 40 Extension Kit 98683W116 is a genuine Fiamma accessory designed to accommodate thicker roof installations when fitting compatible Fiamma caravan, campervan and motorhome roof vents. Featuring extended control knobs and a metal extension adaptor, this practical kit allows the roof vent's operating mechanism to remain accessible when installed through deeper roof structures.
Standard Fiamma Vent 40 rooflights are generally designed for roofs measuring 30–50mm thick. Where additional roof insulation or thicker construction increases the overall roof depth, the extension kit enables compatible installations with roof thicknesses of up to 85mm.
The kit is particularly useful for motorhome conversions, campervan installations and caravans with insulated roof panels, where the standard roof vent components may not provide sufficient reach.
Supplied with two extended white control knobs and one metal extension adaptor, the kit provides the additional components required to accommodate the greater distance between the rooflight and its interior controls.
Its purpose-designed construction helps maintain the functionality of the original Fiamma roof vent without requiring modifications to the rooflight itself.
Although primarily intended for the Fiamma Vent 40, this extension kit is also listed as compatible with selected Fiamma Turbo-Vent and Turbo-Vent P3 models. Always check the manufacturer's part number and compatibility before purchasing.
Finished in neutral white, the extended control components are designed to complement compatible Fiamma interior rooflight fittings.
Whether you're installing a new roof vent or adapting an existing installation to a thicker roof structure, the Fiamma Kit Vent 40 Extension Kit provides a practical solution for maintaining convenient rooflight operation.
Complete your caravan or motorhome roof vent installation with the genuine Fiamma Kit Vent 40 Extension Kit, designed to accommodate thicker roofs while maintaining easy access to your rooflight controls.
