If you’re after a rooftop tent that gives your family plenty of breathing room without overwhelming your roof rack, the TentBox Lite XL delivers. Designed to sleep up to 4 adults (or 2 adults + pets + bedding), this is the biggest interior in the Lite range—but it still folds down small so you can keep a low profile on the road.

Set up takes just about 5 minutes: open the tent manually, extend the ladder, fold out the base, insert the porch poles if using them, and you’re ready.

Inside you’ll find a super-king mattress that stays inside when packed down, so no need to repack bedding every time. Two skylights let in light and views, while all windows and doors are equipped with anti-bug mesh so you can enjoy airflow without the insects. A removable rainfly gives you ‘summer mode’ when you want minimal cover in good weather.

Storage is thoughtful: there are long inside pockets, a small hanging pocket, storage straps under the fold-out base, and a drop-down pole storage bag so your gear is organised and out of the way. Four vents in the pod fabric help keep airflow flowing, so you stay cool and condensation is minimised.

The materials are built for all seasons: pod is made from 280gsm rip-stop polyester with 3000mm HH rating, UV50+ protection, waterproof seams, and strong YKK zippers. The rainfly and travel cover use tougher fabrics (210D and 600D) with high water resistance and strong zip protection. The frame is a welded aluminium hinge assembly with steel where needed, built to weather harsh conditions.
