The Whale Easi-Slide White Sliding Socket Lid is a genuine replacement cover designed for compatible Whale Easi-Slide external water inlet sockets, offering weather protection, easy installation and a durable white finish.
Designed to replace a damaged, worn or missing cover, this practical accessory helps restore the appearance and protection of your caravan or motorhome’s external water connection. Rather than replacing the complete socket assembly, the Whale Easi-Slide replacement lid allows you to renew the protective outer cover while retaining the existing compatible installation.
The lid features Whale’s distinctive Easi-Slide design, offering a practical alternative to traditional hinged socket covers. The sliding mechanism provides convenient access to the external water connection when required, while allowing the socket to be covered neatly when not in use.
One of its main advantages is its weatherproof protective design, helping shield the socket from rain, dust, dirt and everyday outdoor exposure. This is particularly useful for caravans and motorhomes that spend extended periods outdoors, whether touring between campsites or stored between holidays.
Manufactured with a UV-stabilised finish, the lid is designed to withstand regular exposure to sunlight, helping maintain its appearance and durability during outdoor use. Its crisp white colour complements the exterior fittings commonly found on modern caravans, campervans and motorhomes.
The cover also features a high-quality satin finish, giving the external socket a clean, professional appearance. This makes it particularly suitable for replacing an older cover that has become scratched, discoloured or damaged through regular use.
Installation is designed to be straightforward, making the Whale Easi-Slide lid a convenient replacement component for routine maintenance and repairs. Its lightweight construction also makes it easy to handle and fit to the appropriate socket housing.
The Whale AK1411 is compatible with suitable Whale Easi-Slide water inlet sockets, including the ES6001 pressure-switched water inlet. As Whale manufactures several different Easi-Slide socket types and lid designs, checking your existing socket and replacement part number before ordering is essential.
Whether you are refurbishing an older caravan, repairing a damaged water inlet or simply replacing a missing cover, this genuine Whale accessory offers a convenient and cost-effective solution.
Restore the appearance and protection of your external water connection with the Whale Easi-Slide White Sliding Socket Lid, combining easy installation, weather resistance and a durable UV-stabilised finish.
