The Whale Telescopic Swivel Tap with On/Off Control FT1160 is a compact, space-saving cold water tap for caravans, campervans and boats, featuring a 360° swivelling spout, adjustable telescopic height and convenient manual water flow control.
Designed specifically for installations where space is limited, this practical Whale tap provides a convenient water outlet without occupying unnecessary room around your sink or worktop. Its innovative telescopic construction allows the spout to be raised when needed and lowered when not in use, making it particularly suitable for compact caravan kitchens, campervan conversions and marine galleys.
One of its standout features is the 360° swivelling spout, which allows the outlet to be positioned over the sink for convenient water delivery. When fully extended, the tap can rotate to suit your washing or rinsing requirements, providing flexibility in smaller kitchen areas.
The adjustable telescopic height allows the tap to extend from approximately 35mm to 127mm above its mounting position. When lowered, the outlet can be tucked away inside the sink bowl, helping create a neater installation and allowing suitable worktop or sink covers to be closed.
For convenient water management, the FT1160 incorporates a manual on/off valve at the end of the spout. This allows you to control the water flow directly at the outlet, making everyday tasks such as washing hands, rinsing dishes and filling containers straightforward.
Manufactured using marine-grade materials, the Whale Telescopic Tap is designed for regular use in leisure vehicles and boats. Its combination of a white mounting base and metal telescopic spout provides a practical finish suited to a variety of interior installations.
The tap is designed for use with non-pressurised water systems, including compatible Whale manual foot pumps and electric water pumps. This makes it particularly useful for simple freshwater installations where a conventional domestic-style pressurised tap is not required.
Installation is straightforward with a suitable hose connection and mounting arrangement. Its compact design also makes it an excellent choice for new campervan conversions, boat refurbishments and replacement water fittings.
Whether you are upgrading a compact galley or replacing an existing foldaway tap, the Whale FT1160 offers convenient water access while maximising valuable worktop space.
Make the most of your available space with the Whale Telescopic Swivel Tap FT1160, combining adjustable height, 360° rotation and simple on/off water control in one compact design.
