The Thetford Fresh-Up Set for C2, C3 & C4 Cassette Toilets provides a simple and cost-effective way to refresh your existing caravan or motorhome toilet with a brand-new waste holding tank, toilet seat and cover. Designed specifically for compatible Thetford C2, C3 and C4 Cassette Toilets, this genuine Thetford set allows key components of your existing toilet to be replaced without the expense and disruption of installing a completely new toilet.
The Fresh-Up Set includes the components that typically see the greatest amount of use: a new cassette waste holding tank plus a replacement toilet seat and cover. Once installed, these new components provide a cleaner, fresher setup while allowing the main body of your existing C2, C3 or C4 toilet to remain in place.
Installation has also been designed to be straightforward. Thetford states that the Fresh-Up Set can be fitted without the need for tools, making it an accessible upgrade for caravan and motorhome owners who want to refurbish their toilet themselves. Simply replace the existing waste cassette, toilet seat and cover with the new components supplied in the set.
Replacing these components rather than the complete toilet also makes the Fresh-Up Set a more sustainable and economical solution. It’s particularly useful when purchasing a pre-owned caravan or motorhome, refreshing an older touring vehicle or simply replacing well-used toilet components after years of service. Thetford specifically describes the Fresh-Up Set as a more sustainable and cheaper alternative to replacing the complete cassette toilet.
The replacement cassette can also provide another practical benefit. If your existing cassette is still serviceable, the Fresh-Up Set gives you the option of retaining it as a spare waste holding tank, potentially increasing your available waste capacity during longer trips or when disposal facilities aren’t immediately available. Thetford itself highlights using the Fresh-Up kit as an extra waste holding tank for longer trips.
With a new cassette tank, toilet seat and cover supplied together, the genuine Thetford C2/C3/C4 Fresh-Up Set is a convenient way to give your existing cassette toilet a fresh start.
To determine which cassette you require; as you are seated on the toilet if the cassette is located on the right-hand side then the right is required. If located on the left then the left handed version is required.
